Windows DNS record change between static and dynamic update

  • from dynamic update to static

unchoose delete this record when it becomes stale

  • change from static to dynamic (not perfect)

Use DNScmd.exe with the /ageallrecords switch to set scavenging and a timestamp on all records in the zone including static records.

while this solution is somehow reach the goal but not perfect. do it before you have enough preparation first.
